Tanuj Khandelwal

Senior Member, IEEE – Electrical Engineer, ETAP

Tanuj Khandelwal (Senior Member, IEEE) received his Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Bombay in 1999, and his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach in 2001.

Before joining ETAP, he worked as an Associate Engineer at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Since 2001, he has been part of ETAP’s Engineering Consulting Services Department, where his work spans algorithm design, testing, software support, training, and application engineering for the ETAP suite of products.

Tanuj’s experience includes application development for power derivatives in deregulated markets, auditing CAISO operating procedures, and streamlining power contracts for Nevada Power. He is also a contributing member of several IEEE standards committees, including IEEE Std. 739 (Bronze Book), IEEE Std. 551 (Brown Book), and the IEEE Rail Transit Vehicle Interface Standards Committee.
